Festival Pass for Monday, Feb. 4

Happy Monday! If you need to wash away the most boring Super Bowl ever, you’re in luck.

A couple of festivals have announced their lineups for 2019 so you get a special bonus edition of Festival Pass today. Also, since they’re both beach fests, I think we need them to kick out this gloom and rain over Southern California right now.

The Like Totally Music Festival will return to Huntington State Beach on Saturday, May 11 with John Lydon’s Public Image Ltd, Kim Wilde, ABC, Greg Kihn Band and The Reflexx with Richard Page and Nick Richards and more. (Photo by Ron Lyon, for Like Totally Music Festival)

Made in the ’80s: The Like Totally Music Festival will be back in Huntington Beach and it’s your chance to see Johnny Rotten and Kim Wilde on the same stage. See the lineup and find out how to get tickets.

ICYMI: I pulled together a photo gallery of all of the Coachella headliners from 1999-2009. We’ll post 2010-2018 later this week. Also, there’s a job fair for Coachella and Stagecoach on Feb. 8.

And now for a little something extra…Here are three must-reads on entertainment, culture and events we think you might like.

  1. This Burbank florist amed her shop after a Motorhead song. The flower arrangements are pretty metal, too.
  2. Did you know you can get a singing telegram to serenade your sweetie with “Sweet Child O’Mine”?
  3. Gang of Four talks about “Entertainment!” at 40.
