Nominate your business to Top Workplaces 2019 program

In one of the tightest labor markets in recent history, it’s become open season for new jobs and better benefits.

Employers are on the hunt for the best employees and in return have to produce top workplaces.

We’d like to know all about these best places to work. The Inland News Group has launched its sixth annual Top Workplaces program, inviting the best of the best to show the Inland Empire what makes their business No. 1.

Last year 40 companies and organizations were honored. The large company winner was San Bernardino’s Inland Regional Center, which claimed its second top honor in two years. The midsize winner was Pardee Homes’ Inland division in Corona, and the small winner was Brookside Healthcare Center in Redlands.

What made these companies so special? A team-first spirit. Great leadership. Training, support and a flexible workday.

Research partner Energage will survey the nominees in the coming weeks. Last year, the news group’s program invited 937 local organizations to participate with 63 surveyed. The number of employees represented by surveyed organizations: 18,000.

Winners in 2019 will be feted at a luncheon and featured in the Inland Empire’s newspapers.

If you think your company is a top workplace, here’s how you can get it nominated:

  • Any organization with 35 or more employees (can be public, private, non-profit, government), provided they are located in Riverside and San Bernardino counties, as well as the Los Angeles County communities of La Verne, Claremont, San Dimas, Pomona and Diamond Bar.
  • Workplaces are evaluated by their employees using a short 24-question survey.
  • Companies will be surveyed during June through August.
  • Nomination deadline: July 12
