Frontier Means Family: Three Sisters Work Side by Side at Homebuilding Company

Inland Empire, CA – Sisters Nancy, Adriana, and Connie never imagined they’d be working side by side at a homebuilding company. As kids, they shared chores, and years later, they are sharing best practices as new-home sales consultants for Frontier Communities.

The trio was born and raised in California, and now they’re dedicating their careers to helping others enjoy the same experience. Adriana, who is married with three kids ages 12, 10 and 8, shares, “It’s great working with my sisters. We really know each other’s strengths and weaknesses and support each other.”

Adriana works at Asher Ranch III, which is a new-home neighborhood in Rosamond, CA. She works alongside Nancy. The two enjoy working near the Edwards Air Force Base because they get to help military families – who’ve relocated from all over the world – find a new home.

“It’s an international, diverse area,” says Adriana. “Everyone comes in with a story to tell. We meet people from Italy, Japan, Guam, Florida, Hawaii…everywhere.”

Nancy also knows what it’s like to work with members of the military, as her son is currently deployed aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln.

To bring a little joy and thanks to her son and the troops this past holiday season, Nancy helped the Frontier team assemble gift bags that he used to play Secret Santa on the ship.

“My greatest success is my three children,” says Nancy, who not only works with Adriana but was also hired on the exact same day. In fact, the two sisters were interviewed at the same time by Mark Hicks, Frontier’s division president.

“Mark interviewed us together, then hired us together,” says Nancy. “I am grateful to be working for this company. Frontier takes care of all its surroundings, from the community to its clients and employees. It’s an honor to work for them.”

Speaking of community, all three sisters also participated in Frontier’s recent bike donation. In fact, Adriana was on site at the Boys and Girls Club of Fontana to help the homebuilder deliver more than 60 bikes to kids ages 7-16.

“Community means friends, family, togetherness and supporting each other. That’s what we do here,” adds Adriana.

Connie, who supports her sisters from afar – well, only an hour away at Stone Briar in Adelanto, joined Frontier in 2017, a year after her sisters were hired. Before she started, she visited her sisters on site as often as possible to learn the ropes. The former chef quickly fell in love with the idea of helping families find their dream home, so she earned her real estate license and stayed in touch with the sales team until it was time to trade in her whisks and pans for pens and paper.

“I never imagined that I would be working with my sisters, as our backgrounds and education are so different,” Connie says. “It’s been a blessing and honor to work with them. They are just simply beautiful, intelligent and words can’t explain how proud I am… and the best part is, we have lunch together on a weekly basis at team meetings.”

Outside of the office, Connie who is married with two children still loves to cook, take long drives, run marathons and volunteer in her community with organizations like the Special Olympics. Her philanthropic spirit helps drive Frontier’s efforts, too.

“Frontier’s involvement with the community is impressive and I’m honored to be a part of it,” adds Connie.

“From the inside out, we are all about family,” says Mark Hicks, Division President for the homebuilder. “Adriana, Nancy, and Connie bring so much passion to our company and to our customers. We are grateful for the unique experience of having these three hardworking and giving sisters at Frontier.”
