Man found dead in Pomona from apparent head trauma

A man with head trauma was found dead in Pomona, police said Sunday, Aug. 29.

Officers were dispatched at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 28, to Holt and White avenues for a man down in the area and found a man suffering from head trauma, the Pomona Police Department reported.

Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Further identifying information for the dead man was not immediately available. Neither suspect nor motive information was immediately available.
